How much does each certification cost?

ForgedRider uses simple, predictable pricing. You pay once per certificate. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees, and no surprise charges.

Certification cost

Each certified ride is $60 USD. That includes:

GPS-verified analysis of your ride
A digital certificate sent to you by email after verification
Storage of your certified ride so you can show it later if asked

The fee is the same whether your ride is 250 mi / 400 km or 1,000 mi / 1,600 km. The work behind verification is the same regardless of distance.

Optional merchandise

You can add a physical item with your certificate. Pick one at checkout:

Patch (+$10 USD): an embroidered ForgedRider patch. Includes shipping and handling.
Sticker (+$7.50 USD): a vinyl ForgedRider sticker. Includes shipping and handling.
Both (+$17.50 USD): a patch for your vest and a sticker for your toolbox. Rockers ship in both formats.
None ($0): digital certificate only, no physical item.

Your patch or sticker ships within 7 business days of verification.

How rockers work

You earn rockers by riding. You don't order them, and they aren't sold on their own. They aren't included in the $60 certificate fee.

Rockers ship only with a patch or sticker order. The format matches your order: a patch order ships embroidered rockers, a sticker order ships vinyl rockers.

On your first patch or sticker order you receive your Apprentice rocker (top) plus any distance rocker you've already crossed (bottom). On every patch or sticker order after that, any new rockers earned are shipped along with your order.

If you skip the patch or sticker, no rockers are shipped for that ride. Any rockers you've earned are kept on your lifetime record. The next time you order a patch or sticker, all the queued rockers are shipped together.

Even if you never order a patch or sticker, your level and distance still count toward your lifetime totals.

Returning rider rebate

Every certified ride after your first earns you a $5 USD rebate. The rebate applies before tax and reduces the base price:

First ride with no merch: $60 USD
First ride with patch or sticker: $65 USD
Returning ride with no merch: $55 USD
Returning ride with patch or sticker: $60 USD

The rebate is automatic. You don't need a coupon code.

What your $60 covers

Behind every certificate, ForgedRider runs:

GPS verification logic
Photo and timestamp checks
Manual review when a ride lands in a grey area
Production and shipping of physical items
Long-term storage of your ride record

You're paying for proof that holds up to scrutiny, the kind of proof you can show to a riding group, a club organizer, or yourself at the end of a long year.

No subscriptions

ForgedRider does not charge a monthly fee. If you don't ride, you don't pay. If you ride once a year, you pay for one certification. If you ride ten times, you pay for ten and earn the rebate on rides two through ten.

This pricing model exists because endurance riding is seasonal and personal. We don't think you should pay for months you aren't riding.
